Hi lovelies! I saw my midwife yesterday and she said everything is going great other than my placenta is low lying (otherwise known as placenta praevia) and the babes is in a posterior position. But her heart rate is strong and all the measurments are perfect. I haven't felt much movement in there and that's a little worrisome at 21 weeks but I am trying to be patient and positive! ;)
So why not plan her nursery colours I say! I've based everything on this print I found of the Paris metro on Art 20X200.
.....and my gorgeous Pronovias wedding veil. We plan to drape it above the crib. It's the most beautiful soft tulle you have ever laid eyes on. I just can't wait to see it hanging there!
So what do you think kids? Yay or Nay?

Wear Wednesday- What we wore: Bride and Groom
Hey guys wanna see the details of what we wore to our wedding? I love looking at other brides pictures and finding out how they put the whole thing together so I thought you might like to, too?
The hairclip- Mom assembled it in my hair literally as I was getting ready. She picked up the flower at a shop on Queen West in Toronto along with the feathers and an antique broch. She's a creative powerhouse I tell ya.
The shoes- were comfy green suede sling backs from CosmoParis.
The jewels- My earrings are diamond and pearl spirals from Birks that my parents gifted me for my 30th birthday and the bracelet I won on a wedding giveaway. My Aunt Jane re-worked it, taking off the ribbon and adding clasps to make it into a bracelet instead. My family is full of creative ladies!
The viel- from Pronovias and is the most luxurious and beautiful thing I have ever owned. It's made of french silk tulle with intricate lace around the edges. I'm trying to think of a way to use it in the future. Maybe a canopy over a baby bassinet?
It was catherdral length and totally not what I imagined I'd pick. Maybe not the best choice for an outdoor wedding but what can you do? The heart wants what the heart wants and man did mine ever want that veil! Thank you so much Mom and Dad.
Vince's suit- a three piece very well made suit from De Fursac.
Vince's tie- a silk pink/grey/taupe checkered tie from Paul Smith.
His accessory- a hankerchief from Etsy I had embroidered
His shoes- beautiful brown leather shoes from Hardridge that he's owned for years!
The dress- is Medina from Pronovias Spring Summer 2010. We bought it at Balletts in London Ontario the very same place my Aunt Jane bought her dress ten years earlier.
I fell in love with it right away and cliché as it may be I cried when I tried it on. I loved the material and especially the skirt with the pick up in the front. I felt sexy and beautiful and skinny! I also felt like my boobs were somewhat under control. I had started to succomb to the idea of having to pull up my top all night while wearing a strapless dress. I thought all the ones with straps would be matronly. Not so!
Vince's shirt- lucked out and found a great deal at Izac.
We escaped at the end of the night and forgot my veil, Vince's jacket and vest. Thankfully the best man had us covered and brought them back with the bus load of happy boozey guests a little later.
Vince shirt was soaked through. He brought another one with him in case this happened and would have to change. He never did, I didn't ask him too. We were just having too much FUN dammit!
I would lovelovelove to know what dress or suit you wore or a want to wear? Did you accessorize with already owned pieces or go all out and buy new ones? What was/will be your favourite part of your look? Come on girls and boys, spill the beans!

The post wedding cut
I've been dreaming of cutting off my hair for a few months. It's been straggly, limp, lifeless and completely without style. But I also really wanted an updo for my wedding so I kept it long for that reason and made an appointment at The Living Room salon for after the honeymoon.
Finally last friday it was time to chop it off! Unfortunately my crappy french combined with the stylist's huge ego left me with a not so dreamy look.
It's not biggie, really! I know it will grow out in a few weeks and I will probably come to love it but right now, not so much!
What do you think?

True Love
These young ladies were engaged for 36 years!!!!! And finally on July 24th, 2011 they were allowed to legally marry in New York city!!! There is a wonderfully emotional 'look book' over at New York magazine that features 15 of the newlywed couples from the first day of marriage equality in New York. The story is by Rachel Baker and along with their portrait she asked the giddy couples a few sweet questions. Head over to read it if you are in the mood for love. Thanks so much to Joanna from A Cup of Jo for sharing this! It made my heart melt!

Becoming Samantha Klein
Good morning everybody! Me and Sunny are sitting here on the couch patiently waiting for the official wedding portraits to arrive in the mail from Malta and I was just thinking.......how do I change my name?I guess I need to change it in:
my passport?
my SIN card?
my email?
hmmmmmmm and where else? It's kinda fun to think about and also daunting. Do I have to let anyone know like the government or do I just decide?

Breathe, relax and take it all in!
That's what my Aunts have been telling me these last few days as my stress level rockets and dips and rockets again. It's true! I will never be here again so I'd had better enjoy it! Just like this funny bride above. Found on Snipet and Ink from Lauren Ross via Alison Events.Love and Hugs

We are on a roller coaster of emotions over here holy macaroni! Those bitches at AC are still pissing me off but other than that I am back to my happy Bride self. Take that Stresszilla! On repeat over and over in my head: "This will all get done, my family and friends will all be there and it will be awesome!"
Seriously though I am over the moon excited to be on vacation with my favourite people in the whole world AND getting married to the love of my life at the same time! There is no room for stress or sadness. NO ROOM I SAY!
No more eyelid twitching only smiles and bliss from now on!

Stresszilla?!
I have skipped the Bridezilla step and gone completely deeply into the stressed out Bride part. All thanks to the damn eff'ing Air Canada ticket agents. They get me everytime. Doesn't matter if I haven't worked for Jazz for 3 years now and never travel standby they are still fucking over my life. Thanks girls!Mom, Dad, Ryan, Britt and Grandpa booked confirmed full fare tickets across the pond on Sunwing airlines yesterday in order to calm my panic attacks and uncontrollable crying. Thanks so much Mom! At least my own mother will make it to my wedding no thanks to AC!
However my right eyelid will not stop twitching and I'm trying not to freak out that there is only 1.5 weeks until we leave for Malta! Holy crap my 3 page to-do list is waaaaaaaaay too ambitious!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
