The Royal shoes

That's right kids, you are looking at my wedding shoes! Alright it's true they are not royal but to me they are perfect!
We got them at Galeries Lafayette last Monday for 100euros! Great price, great colour, great bling and perfect heel height! What more could a bride ask for? Nothing I say! Nothing!
So the question remains, what colour should I paint my toes?

Easter at the park

Last Sunday we took the doggie to the park for a picnic. We live a few steps away from a gorgeous park called Montsouris. It's a great place to go for a run or just sit in the grass and have a glass of rosé and a sticky buttery kouignette from Georges Larnicol. And so we did just that. Oh and the people watching, you can't forget to people watch! It was a lazy warm sunny afternoon and just what we had in mind for our first Easter in Paris.

Happy Birthday my ole Dad!

54 years ago today my Dad was born! And thank goodness for that! Anybody who knows him knows that he is the most loyal supportive man around. I can't imagine a more loving father growing up and now as a adult I can truly see how lucky I am.
I miss our talks in the car on the way to the airport all those mornings and evenings we worked together but now they are replaced by vacation after vacation spent together in Paris and Rome and Malta and the list goes on. I love watching and being with my Dad while he travels. He is the happiest man alive in those moments and I always feel like the luckiest daughter alive to be right there beside him holding his hand. I live for those times when I can sense his complete happiness shining from within. It makes my heart heavy and then feeling ovewhellmed with love. You know what I mean? I love you my Dad! You make me proud and happy and lovey!

I hope you have a great day today with lots of BBQ'ing and Keiths Red and maybe a few face fights or two ;-)!

Happy Earth Day my lovelies! Sunny and I are celebrating by taking long walks in the sunshine and buying beautiful peonies to light up our home. Aren't they gorgeous?!!!

We are thinking about having a picnic in the park tomorrow afternoon and maybe a little wedding shoe shopping? ;) What about you? Any plans for the long weekend? I hope it's a great one!

Hévin is for Heaven

Every Wednesday I buy a newspaper called Le Figaro for one reason only, Le Figaroscope. It's a weekly insert of all that's cool that week in Paris. There are restaurant reviews, listings for music, theater and advice on what can't be missed. This weeks Easter edition had a large section about all the chocolate shops to be found in the 6eme. After throughly reading the reviews I have my heart set on Jean-Paul Hévin's chocolate hen for my one small Easter weekend indulgence. Out of the 12 chocolatiers reviewed Jean Paul's was the clear winner receiving a never before heard of "everything is perfect!'' review. I can't wait to get over there this weekend to taste for myself! Who's with me?!

11 weeks till buff arms and......

..........The Wedding! Muahaaaahhahahahahahaha! Yeah apparently it takes 8-12 weeks to get muscle definition in your arms so here we go! The arm muscle crackdown is on bitches! I will be able to crack walnuts in my elbow joints by then! Oh YEAH!

Just joking but I do hope to have minimal arm pit fat by July 6th. Well see! Wish me luck!

Monday Blues? Sunny to the rescue!

There's no way to be with Sunny and not have a smile on your face! She's an instant lovey happy maker girlfriend! However waking up at 6:30am all full of piss and vinegar may or may not be working for her roomates! ;) We're working on sleeping in until 7:30am! Wish us luck and have a great week my loves!

Doggie seeking doggie

Sunny's lonely! Calling all new doggie friends! Anyone out there?! She is missing her Winnie Friend in a big way. But I think we might have found a distraction. There is a 6 year old mutt down the street who likes to put her two front paws up on Sunny's face like Sunny likes to do to Winnie. We are going out for a walk later to see if we can find her again and maybe get a second date? Fingers crossed for the Strawb!

We're back!

Well that's it! 3 weeks in Canada went by in a flash! We arrived in Paris yesterday morning and have been sleeping ever since. What a trip! I can't thank my friends and family enough for everything they did for me. The shower! The stagette! The dinners and beds I slept on....everything! Its so overwhellming!!!!
Thank you Thank you! And please know there is an open space with us in Paris whenever you get the chance. If not, see you in Malta in July 6th!

This is my brother Ryan. He's in London on a two week internship at the Imperial War Museum. The most prestigious war museum for an equally prestigious brother if I do say so my self. Whoa we've been busy!

Wozers this is the longest I have ever been away from you guys! I'm so sorry! I've been in Toronto for the last week and a half and it's been chockablocked full of fun! There was my wedding dress pick up, my shower, my stagette, my Aunt Lyn's play, a knitting workshop and more!!!! The above pic is from my lingerie shower that my family and friends so graciously and tirelessly put together for me last Saturday. It was the funnest shower I have ever been to if I do say so myself! ;)

I hope you have been having a great first few weeks of spring and I promise I will start posting regularly from now on.
