Freeforall Friday- Our Wedding

My friend Khali has brought it to my attention that other people read this blog and want to see our wedding photos. I just assumed all my readers were either at the wedding or are friends with my Mom on facebook (therefore seeing the 1000+ photos she has uploaded) Apparently that's not the case, so here we are with the Dodge/Klein wedding round up.

Man of honour and Bridesmaid: My brother Ryan and sister in law Britt
Best Woman and Groomswoman: Vince's sisters Nat and Delph
Guests: 50 of the most important people in our lives 
MC: My extremely smart, prepared and a little stressed out brother Ryan 
Music: Dru and Keith, drummer and singer extrodinaire
Food: Muh, not terrible but unmemorable
Cake: Pretty but tasted kinda heavy
Cocktails: Kick ass! We a hired a cocktail maker to create a list of drinks tailored to our guests tastes
Flowers: White peonies and astilbe. A little dissapointing but nothing to complain about

Our escape

We got to spend almost a complete week with the people we love exploring Malta and celebrating together. The love at the castle was unreal. It was exactly how we imagined it and more. But honestly how do you describe something so profound and magical as marrying your spouse. You can't.
So instead have fun looking at the pictures! We had fun making them!

Downward beach

Last saturday Vince and I were out all day taking a million pictures with our new camera and stopping for beer and coffee wherever we could. We heading down to the rocky beach in Sliema and I couldn't help being inspired and infected with the calm of the energy there. Up into a downward dog pose I went and contemplated my time here. What an amazing journey this has been. So many horrible things have happened here and then in it's place an enormous amout of healing.
I will forever be tied to this place and thay makes my soul feel nice.

Goodmorning guys! We are back in Malta! We got in late last night and upon touchdown Vince and I decided to make a few New Year resolutions for our last month here:

1. Drink more Cisk!
2. Eat more Octopus!

We are leaving for who knows where on the 31st of Jan and must fill our bellies with the above two Maltese specialties as much as possible! Yummmmy January here we come!

Cousin Blake tries Espresso

Good Morning Everybody! Do you love espresso or what? My girlfriend Amberlie just got a brand new Nespresso machine and is totally hooked but not as much as I am jealous! I would drink tiny cups of espresso all day if it didn't give me extreme anixety, panic attacks and the shakes!
I just loved travelling with Blake and watching him try new things. He makes everything so much more awesome! Maybe it's his towering height and tiny cup that sends me over the egde. Either way I miss you buddy!

Last Friday

Good Morning Everybody! It's Friday and I can't stop thinking that this time last week we were on our way to the Blue Lagoon in Comino with Ryan, Britt and Blake. It was really windy and the water was kinda cold and we saw a jellyfish but all that aside it is one of the most beautiful spots I have ever seen. We had a awesome time! Goodmorning Everybody! Well it's hump day and I know I am not the only one who wishes it was friday! I was thinking later Vince and I might pop on down to the our friendly sandwich corner and grab a budget friendly pint of Skol. I only wish Blake and Ryan and Britt were here to share. Gozo

Goodmorning everybody! I know I promised pictures of Gozo a few weeks back but we've been busy man! Lots of visitors! So finally here are a few. We went to the west side of the island to a little town called Xlendi. Pronounced Shlendi. It was so beautiful! We arrived in around 4pm and went straight for the beach. We mingled with the fishes, played a few rounds of frisbee and had a couple of apres-swim beers. Later we ate dinner near the coast and called it an early night. Overall Gozo is perfectly peaceful and I can't wait to go back! Come on over so we can go together!

Vince's sweet Cousins

Good Morning everybody and happy Monday! We are feeling the emptyness around the house again after Vince's cousins left yesterday afternoon. Helene and Edouard Klein are from Nancy France and stayed with us for 8 days. We did mostly beaches as the weather is getting pretty unbearable over here. At night we went dancing to please Helene's insatiable need! We even did some salsa lessons one weds night at Fuegos! Thank goodness there is no photographic evidence! We had a great time and it was so nice to meet more of Vince's big family! Can't wait to see you at the wedding next year Helene and Edouard! Thanks so much for coming and sharing a great week together!
