Goodmorning Everybody! I love reading the Boots and CatEyes blog. She a sweet and creative actress living in LA and planning a wedding. I found this new blog called ThxThxThx through her. It's a blog completely dedicated to writting Thank you notes. The authors mother always taught her to write thank you notes so now she writes one for everything! It is so inspiring and funny! Sliema Spring Fest with Sue

Happy Saturday Everyone! I woke up early this morning and thought I would start out with the Springfest Sue and I visited two sundays' ago. It was in Sliema which is the next town over. Sue took the coolest picture of us riding the bus over. Can you see us in the drivers mirror?
We got there early and bought a chocolate crossaint and watched the vendors set up. There was a stall for wine and traditional maltese food, one for lace makers, one for flowers and veggies and the list goes on. They even had a karaoke/lip singer! True maltese style! We loved every minute of it. Especially at the end when Sue helped me talk to one of the lace makers about making my wedding veil! I can't wait to take Mom with me to the womens shop when she gets here in June.

Sue, Vince and Sam take Comino!

On the ferry ride over, I am NOT impressed!
Goodmorning Everybody! I am fending off the sadness with some bright and sunny pictures of last weekend on Comino and the Blue Lagoon. We took the 10am ferry over to Comino on Sunday and checked into our hotel and headed straight to the Blue Lagoon. We did a nature walk around the island and then changed into our bathsuits and went for a dip! Very Refreshing! The liquid courage helped for sure. Can't wait till you all get here!

SueSue is gone!

That's it! She's gone. Her flight left 6 mins late and is airborne on the way to London. Boo! :( I don't know what to do with my self. I think I might just got to bed early at 8pm cause I can't think of anything else. Oh man. What a blissful 12 days we had. Hangin out, drinking beers, soaking up the sunshine and just being together. I am a sap and I want my best friend back!

A Sue on the Rocks

Good afternoon Everybody! I wanted to share a few pictures of our trip to The Rocks. There are a couple of kilometers of flat rocks off the coast of Sliema which is the town next to ours. They are really popular for swimmers and sun loungers like us. So we headed over for the day on tuesday and spent a few hours snoozin and reading and eating our little picnic. It was awesome! My little Brother is 30 years old!

Holy Macaroni! Yesterday was Ryan's 30th b-day! Can you believe it! I know! If you've never met my brother I will give you the lowdown.
He is freakishly smart
He is soft and cuddly
He is loyal and strong
He makes me laugh till almost peeing my pants
and he's scared of sharks!

I am so lucky to have a brother like him. Thank you gods for bringing him to into my life and somehow miraculously letting him love me still after many years of torture I bestowed on him during our early years! :)

Sue Update

Sue's flight TCX082L landed in London Gatwick from Halifax at 06:18am this morning, a little over an hour late. She is probably wandering around listenting to the funny British accents and drinking coffee and shopping at Boots in the terminal. Her next flight KM0117 is still scheduled to leave ontime at 11:55am for Malta! YayYayYay!

Okay, gotta calm down. I still have 7 long hours to wait. :( Boooooo!

SueSue is coming!!!!

Oh my gosh! Sue is coming in on Friday! I can not contain my excitment. I am washing duvet covers and geting my toes done. I am buying champagne and beer. I am cleaning the floors and toilet. I am walking around in circles giggling with a big smile on my face. I just can't believe in 72 hours she will be mine! Here in my kitchen, sitting on my couch sipping wine and chatting and EVERYTHING! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I can't wait! Travel safe buba! See you soon! I will be waiting at the arrival sliding doors patienly for you on Friday!

BBQ Octopus a la Jamie Oliver

Happy Monday Guys! Okay it's really obvious we have a serious BBQ wierd fish problem over here. We just can't stop. Everytime I go to the fish counter at the grocery store there is something new and interesting. What can I do but buy it ,take it home, BBQ and eat it...right?? I just bought Jamie Olivers new cookbook called Jamies Does Italy, Spain, France, Sweden, Morroco and Greece. I've never bought any of his books before but I couldn't resist this one mostly because the Italy section is in Venice! and Sweden? That's so weird! I always wondered what they cook up there. Anyways it's a great book with tons of travel pictures and looks of stories which I love. I found this BBQ Octopus recipe in the Greece section and had to give it a try.
